The Venue

Candy Bar is the women’s first lesbian bar with a license to strip. It opened in 1996 and hasn’t looked back since. It has really gone from strength to strength and is very popular with all lesbians throughout the capital. The venue is a little small but that doesn’t stop all the girls having fun all the time. Candy Bar has three floors, a long bar on the ground floor, a pool lounge bar on the first floor and in the basement there’s the dance bar which is where all the entertainment is including erotic dance shows.

Staff can be a little aggressive and do forget their manners now and then. People do have great times here and the strippers make for a lesbian club with a difference. The crowd is slightly on the older side but are still a fun crowd. Drinks are a little expensive so you will need to splash out quite a bit.

They play a variety of music at Candy Bar including RnB, Club classics, chart hits and even have karaoke on some nights!
